60-66 White Street, New York City, NY
At 60 White Street stands a 146-year-old residential building. A structure that was once used and abused, has recently undergone a total gut renovation.
Approximately 80% of materials used in the renovation have been restored and reclaimed from the existing structure, while everything else has been locally sourced. The building falls under New York City’s Landmark Preservation Commission. As experts in landmark projects, Adler Windows was chosen as the projects window supplier and installer.
Our team recommended Zola Windows, Europe’s leader in Passive House Windows. Passive House is a rapidly emerging construction standard requiring buildings to use an extremely small amount of energy for heating and cooling. In order to meet these standards, buildings are insulated to the point of being virtually airtight. Zola is at the forefront of crafting windows that meet PH standards, they were the perfect fit.
