Keeping New York Warm

Adler Windows has partnered with New York Cares to collect and donate coats to the homeless of New York City, under our new initiative Adler Windows Keeping New York Warm.  For every project we complete during the 12 months from October – October, a coat will be donated in the project’s honor to our annual Coat Drive. This is our way of ensuring that every New Yorker has the opportunity to stay warm, healthy and safe throughout the colder months.

In addition to our own donation, the Adler Windows team will also:

  • Collect coats from our employees, clients and vendors as part of our very own Coat Drive
  • Help our clients and vendors set up Coat Drives in their offices
  • Collect coats from various locations around NYC and deliver them to the New York Cares sorting centre
  • Volunteer at the New York Cares sorting centre in December

The Adler Windows Coat Drive will run from November 15th to December 31st .  We will be welcoming both new and old coats in all sizes. Our drop off location is located at 350 7th Avenue – for times please call 212-695-9768.

There are currently more than 60,000 homeless people in New York City, this includes 15,500 homeless families with 23,929 homeless children, sleeping each night in the City’s Municipal Shelter System. Last year New York Cares raised 100,000 coats, this year with a 25% request increase we are aiming for 125,000!! As the cold winter air creeps in help us keep those less fortunate than us warm this year ! To donate a coat or to find out more information, please email or call 212-695-9768.
